WHAT THE HOLY CRAP I FINALLY FINISHED THIS??? ohohooo indeedy do! Only a month and a half after Tony inked it x__x I'm sorry it took me so long! But the metal drove me INSANE. I couldn't work on it for too long or I'd start going batty. And THEN when I finished colouring it and spent over an hour working on the tiled image in Adobe, the stupid program FROZE and I lost my work and I got really discouraged and didn't touch it for a long time again x__x
ANYHooooooo...! For those of you who don't know, this is a collaboration between myself and my loverly boyfriend
This was drawn and inked by hand, and then coloured digitally. I drew Al, then Tony added Ed and he inked the whole thing and then I coloured it and added the tiled background. The tile is a hand-carved rubber stamp I made, too :3 I did the colouring in Painter Classic, watercolour tool
The Elric brothers, Alphonse and Edward, are from the wonderous anime Fullmetal Alchemist AL IS SO CUTE~! *bundles him*

It came out awesomely, though, the shading is wicked. I don't understand how you can render metal so well. o_O Just looking at it makes my arm ache with sympathy pains. Ed's skintone is also really nice, and quite the contrast to the metal.
The background stamp owns my soul. Or possibly wants to devour my soul. whatever. XD
