Art Trade - Sonata for Meg

This is my half of an art trade with I'M FINALLY DONE!!!! I've only been working on this for about a month and a half now lol Actually, I finished everything except his hair in the first week, but then I ran in to troubles! I had a hard time making his hair look real and I didn't want to rush it or mess anything up!

I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. I might post a version without the black eartail-things cause I'm really proud of his face and some of his nice bone structure got covered up. I also might post a progression pic in scraps or something, if I'm not too lazy lol

Anyhoo, Meg wanted me to draw Sonata and I felt like doing something different, so I decided to paint a more realistic pic instead. I used photo reference of Anthony Kiedis from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, cause Meg mentioned one time that Anthony in the Scar Tissue video is how she pictured Sonata (or something like that! lol) I hope it looks ok!!!

This was done in Painter Classic, mostly with the Soft Chalk Pastel tool. The background was a photo of random spray paint on rust, cause the black background I had looked kind of plain. ummmm.... I can't think of anything else to add, so, I hope you like it! :3
